Effect of Vestibular Rehabilitation Training Assisted Rehabilitation Exercise Training on Balance,Limb Function and Cognitive Function in Elderly Patients with Parkinson's Disease
Objective To explore the application effect of vestibular rehabilitation training assisted rehabilitation exercise training in elderly patients with Parkinson's disease. Methods A total of 88 elderly Parkinson's patients admitted to the hospital from October 2021 to September 2023 were selected as the research objects and were divided into a control group(n=44)and a research group(n=44)using a sealed envelope method. The control group performed rehabilitation exercise training, and the research group combined with vestibular rehabilitation training on the basis of the control group. The Berg Balance Scale(BBS),Fugl-Meyer Motor Assessment(FMA),and Montreal Cognitive Assessment(MoCA)score were compared before and 2 months of intervention. Results Before intervention, there was no statistically significant difference in BBS scores between the two groups(P>0.05);after 2 months of intervention, the BBS scores of both groups were higher than before the intervention, and the BBS scores of the research group were higher than those of the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Before intervention, there was no statistically significant difference in FMA scores between the two groups(P>0.05);after 2 months of intervention, the FMA scores of both groups were higher than before intervention, and the FMA scores of the research group were higher than those of the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Before intervention, there was no statistically significant difference in MoCA scores between the two groups(P>0.05);after 2 months of intervention, the MoCA scores of both groups were higher than before intervention, and the MoCA score of the research group was higher than that of the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion Using vestibular rehabilitation training assisted rehabilitation exercise training can improve the balance ability and limb function and cognitive function.
