Observation of the Effect of Flexible Ureteroscope Lithotripsy and Super-Mini Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy in the Treatment of Patients with Kidney Stones Respectively
Objective Comparison of the application effects of flexible ureteroscope lithotripsy(FURL)and super-mini percutaneous nephrolithotomy(SMP)using ultra-fine channels in patients with kidney stones. Methods Selecting 120 patients with kidney stones admitted to Rizhao Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from July 2020 to July 2023 as the research subjects, and they were divided into a control group and an observation group using a random number table method, with 60 cases in each group. The control group received SMP,the observation group received FURL,both groups were follow up for 1 month after surgery. The operation condition, kidney function, inflammation index and complications were compared between the two groups. Results Comparison of stone clearance rates between two groups, the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).The intraoperative blood loss in the observation group was(13.41±1.59)mL,less than(19.75±2.36)mL in the control group, the operative time was(68.71±5.63)min,longer than(53.21±3.89)min in the control group, and the length of hospitalization was(3.21±0.59)d,shorter than the control group's(7.89±1.36)d,and the complication rate was 3.33%,lower than the control group's 15.00%moreover,blood urea nitrogen was(6.83±1.40)mmol/L,serum creatinine was(66.35±6.39)μmol/L,white blood cell count was(12.28±1.97)×109/L,C-reactive protein was(10.25±1.36)mg/L,which was lower than(7.78±1.98)mmol/L,(79.65±8.20)μmol/L,(15.72±2.36)×109/L,(16.48±2.31)mg/L in the control group, respectively, the differences were statistically significant between the two group(P<0.05).Conclusion Compared to SMP,although FURL can prolong the operation time,it has less damage to renal function in patients with kidney stones, causes less inflammatory reaction, and has fewer complications, which helps patients to recover quickly after surgery, and can be widely used in clinic.
