Effects of Enalapril Maleate and Folic Acid Assisted Amlodipine Besylate on Blood Ppressure Variability,Serum Hcy Level and Arteriosclerosis in Elderly Patients with H-type Hypertension
Objective To investigate the effects of enalapril maleate folic acid assisted amlodipine besylate on blood pressure variability, serum homocysteine(Hcy)levels and atherosclerosis in elderly patients with H-type hypertension. Methods A total of 90 elderly patients with H-type hypertension admitted in Chiping Distric Liaocheng City Second People's Hospital from April 2020 to April 2023 were selected as the research subjects.According to random number table method, they were divided into a control group and an observation group, with 45 cases in each group. The control group was treated withamlodipine besylate, and the observation group was treated with enalapril maleate folic acid on the basis of the control group. The blood pressure variability, serological indexes, arteriosclerosis status and the occurrence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment,24 h mean systolic blood pressure,24 h mean diastolic blood pressure,24 h mean systolic blood pressure variability and 24 h mean diastolic blood pressure variability in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences between groups were statistically significant(P<0.05);the levels of serum Hcy,uric acid(UA)and blood flow resistance index in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the intima-media thickness of the common carotid artery was thinner than that in the control group, and the differences between groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The combination of enalapril maleate folic acid with amlodipine besylate can improve blood pressure variability in elderly patients with H-type hypertension, reduce serum Hcy and UA levels, delay arteriosclerosis, and have good medication safety.
