Observation of the Effect of Mirena in the Treatment of Endometrial Hyperplasia and Its Influence on Estrogen and Endometrial Thickness
Objective To investigate the effect of Mirena in the treatment of endometrial hyperplasia and its effect on estrogen and endometrial thickness. Methods Fifty-two cases of endometrial hyperplasia treated in our hospital from January 2021 to January 2023 were selected as the research objects, and were divided into a control group and an observation group according to random number table method, with 26 cases in each group. The control group was treated with oral progesterone, and the observation group was treated with oral progesterone combined with Mirena.Estrogen levels, endometrial thickness and menstrual recovery were compared between the two groups. Results Before treatment, there was no significant difference in estrogen level and endometrial thickness between two groups(P>0.05);after treatment, luteinizing hormone, estradiol and follicular estrogen levels in both groups were lower than before treatment, and endometrial thickness was thinner than before treatment, and luteinizing hormone, estradial an follicale stimulating hom levels in observation group were lower than control group, and endometrial thickness was thinner than control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The menstrual recovery time of the observation group was shorter than that of the control group, and the score of menstrual volume was lower than that of the control group, and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The treatment effect of Mirena in patients with endometrial hyperplasia is good for improving estrogen, endometrial thickness, and promoting menstrual recovery. It is worthy of clinical application.
