Value of ACTED Rehabilitation Nursing Model in Elderly Patients with Lower Extremity Fractures
Objective To analyze the value of ACTED rehabilitation nursing model in elderly patients with lower Limb fractures. Methods A total of 82 elderly patients with lower limb fractures who underwent surgical treatment and were admitted to Weifang Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital in Shandong Province from October 2022 to October 2023 were selected as the research subjects. They were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, with 41 cases in each group, using a random number table method. The control group used routine rehabilitation care, and the observation group adopted the ACTED rehabilitation care model. The degree of pain, healing situation, medical costs, and complications were compared between the two groups. Results After 1 and 2 months of intervention, the pain Visual Analogue Scale score of the observation group were lower than that of the control group, and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).The time for callus formation and fracture healing in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, and the medical expenses were lower than those in the control group, and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion In nursing elderly patients with lower limb fractures,ACTED rehabilitation nursing model can reduce patient pain, promote bone healing, and reduce medical costs and complication rate.
