Effect of Intervention Measures under the Guidance of Traditional Chinese Medicine Constitution Classification Combined with Acupoint Thread Embedding on Blood Lipid Levels and Quality of Life in Patients with Simple Obesity
Objective To explore the impact of intervention measures under the guidance of traditional Chinese medicine constitution classification combined with acupoint thread embedding on patients with simple obesity. Methods A total of 100 patients with simple obesity who received treatment in our hospital from August 2022 to August 2023 were selected as the research objects, they were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group using a random number table method, with 50 cases in each group. The control group received routine intervention and electroacupuncture, while the observation group received intervention measures guided by traditional Chinese medicine constitution classification and acupoint thread embedding on the basis of the control group. Compare the body mass index (BMI),total cholesterol (TC),high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C),triglycerides (TG),low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) and quality of lifebetween two groups Results After intervention, the BMI,TC,LDL-C,and TG levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, while HDL-C levels and the 36-item Short Form Health Survey scores were higher than those in the control group, with statistical differences (P<0.05). Conclusion The intervention measures guided by the traditional Chinese medicine constitution classification combined with acupoint thread embedding can effectively improve blood lipid levels and weight, and enhance quality of life in patients with simple obesity.
