Influence of Continuous Nursing on Medication Compliance and Quality of Life in Patients with Schizophrenia
Objective To explore the influence of continuous nursing on discharge nursing of patients with schizophrenia. Methods A total of 102 patients with schizophrenia who were admitted to the hospital from June 2021 to June 2022 were selected as the research objects, and they were divided into a control group and observation group according to the odd and even number of the computer number, with 51 cases in each group. The control group was given conventional nursing, and the observation group was given continuous nursing on the basis of the control group. Medication compliance, positive and negative symptoms, mental state, social function and life quality were compared between the two groups. Results The total medication adherence rate of the observation group was 100.00%,which was higher than 96.08% of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). After nursing, the positive symptoms, negative symptoms, general psychopathological score, and total score of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the differences between the groups were statistically significant (P<0.05);the Personal and Social Performance Scale scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, while the scores of the Self-Rating Anxiety Scale and the Self-Rating Depression Scale were lower than those of the control group, with statistically significant differences between the groups (P<0.05);the psychological and social,energy/motivation,symptom/side reaction scores, and total scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the differences between the groups were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Continuous nursing intervention in patients with schizophrenia can improve the medication compliance of patients after discharge, promote the improvement of positive and negative symptoms, calm negative emotions, stabilize mental state, improve social function and quality of life, which is worthy of promotion.
