Comparison of theEfficacy of Flexible Ureteral Holmium Laser Lithotripsy and Hard Ureteral Pneumatic Ballistic Lithotripsy in the Treatment of Ureteral Calculi Complicated with Hydronephrosis
Objective To analyze the effects of flexible ureteral holmium laser lithotripsy (FURL) and hard ureteral pneumatic lithotripsy (URSL) on patients with ureteral calculi complicated with hydronephrosis. Methods A total of 82 patients with ureteral calculi complicated with hydronephroid admitted to Yicheng District People's Hospital of Zaozhuang City from October 2020 to October 2023 were selected as the study objects, they were divided into a control group and an observation group according to random number table method, with 41 cases in each group. The control group received URSL and the observation group received FURL. Operation related indexes, stress response and occurrence of complications were compared between the two groups. Results There were no significant differences in the one-time stone clearance rate, intraoperative blood loss, operative time and hospital stay between the two groups (P>0.05). After 1 days of operation, the cortisol levels in the observation group were (223.26±22.49)ng/mL and the adrenocorticotrophin levels in the observation group were (20.51±2.03)pmol/L,which were lower than (249.73±25.32)ng/mL and (25.67±2.78)pmol/L in the control group, and the differences between groups were statistically significant (P<0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group was 4.88%,which was lower than 19.51% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Compared with URSL,FURL causes less stress reaction and fewer complications, which is helpful to the postoperative prognosis of patients with ureteral calculi complicated with hydronephrosis, and has certain application value, which is worthy of clinical application.
