Effects of Sensory Integration Training Assisted Behavior Correction Therapy on Behavioral Ability and Electroencephalogram Related Indicators of Children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
Objective To explore the effects of sensory integration training assisted behavior correction therapy on the behavioral ability and electroencephalogram related indicators of children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. Methods A total of 150 children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder admitted to the Binzhou Medical College Affiliated Hospital from September 2022 to May 2023 were selected as the study objects and were divided into a control group and an observation group according to random number table method, with 75 cases in each group. The control group received behavior correction therapy, and the observation gro up received sensory integration training on this basis of the control group. The behavioral ability, sensory integration ability and electroencephalogram related indexes were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the Conners parent symptom questionnaire score in the observation group was (53.27±5.65) points, which was lower than (75.54±5.47) points in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment, the scores of vestibular dysregulation, ontological dysregulation, tactile hyperdefense, underdevelopment of learning ability and age-specific problems in the observation group were (61.28±5.33) points,(46.90±4.06) points,(47.24±5.30) points,(33.18±2.47) points,(10.65±1.30) points, respectively, which were higher than (54.62±5.25) points,(42.53±3.55) points,(42.04±5.26) points,(30.80±2.43) points,(9.12±1.22) points in the control group, and the differences between the groups were statistically significant (P<0.05);the prefrontal electroencephalogram frequency and central electroencephalogram frequency of the observation group were (94.33±5.15)Hz and (92.14±5.06)Hz,respectively,which were higher than (89.82±5.03)Hz and (88.78±4.92)Hz of the control group, while the prefrontal EEG power indexes a/ß and θ were (1.17±0.10) and (986.79±125.23)µV,respectively,which were lower than (1.30±0.11) and (1162.56±131.37)µV of the control group, and the differences between the groups were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Sensory integration training assisted behavior correction therapy can effectively improve the behavioral ability and sensory integration ability of children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and promote the recovery of electroencephalogram related indicators.
