Effect of Chinese Medicine Fever Package on Clinical Symptoms and Lumbar Function of Patients with Lumbar Disc Herniation Causing Lumbar Leg Pain
Objective To investigate the effect of Chinese medicine fever package on the clinical symptoms and lumbar function of patients with lumbar disc herniation causing lumbar leg pain.Methods A total of 110 patients with lumbar disc herniation causing lumbar and leg pain admitted to Xuzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2022 to December 2023 were selected as the research objects,and were divided into a control group and an observation group according to random number table method,with 55 cases in each group.The control group was treated with conventional treatment,and the observation group was treated with Chinese medicine fever package on the basis of the control group,both groups were treated for 2 weeks.The clinical efficacy,pain degree,lumbar function,straight leg elevation and lumbar curvature were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 94.55%,which was higher than 78.18%of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P﹤0.05).After treatment,the pain Visual Analogue Score and Oswestry Disability Index scores of the observation group were(1.51±0.47)points and(12.25±2.21)points,which were lower than(3.13±0.76)points and(17.84±2.30)points of the control group,and the differences between the groups were statistical significance(P﹤0.05);the straight leg elevation and lumbar curvature in the observation group were(76.51±6.28)°and(1.45±0.15)°,respectively,which were significantly greater than(69.97±5.86)° and(1.14±0.13)°in the control group,and the differences between the groups were statistical significance(P﹤0.05).Conclusion The treatment of lumbar leg pain caused by lumbar disc herniation with Chinese medicine fever package can improve the therapeutic effect,reduce the symptoms of lumbar pain and improve the function of lumbar spine.
