Clinical Research of Acupuncture Combined with Taohong Siwu Decoction for Treatment of Rotator Cuff Injury of Qi Stagnation and Blood Stasis Type
Objective To explore the clinical effect of acupuncture combined with Taohong Siwu decoction in treating rotator cuff injury of qi stagnation and blood stasis type.Methods A total of 300 patients with rotator cuff injury of qi stagnation and blood stasis type in Xuancheng Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from November 2021 to October 2023 were selected as the research objects,and were divided into a control group and a treatment group according to random number table method,with 150 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Taohong Siwu decoction,and the treatment group was treated with acupuncture on the basis of the control group,both groups were treated continuously for 2 weeks.The clinical efficacy,traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score,shoulder joint function and pain degree were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of the treatment group was 94.67%,which was higher than 86.67%of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P﹤0.05).After treatment,the pain,joint mobility restriction and tongue purple and dark scores in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P﹤0.05);the score of Constant-Murley scale in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group,and the score of Visual Analogue Scale of pain was lower than that in the control group,and the differences between the groups were statistical significance(P﹤0.05).Conclusion Acupuncture and moxibustion combined with Taohong Siwu decoction has significant clinical effect on rotator cuff injury of qi stagnation and blood stasis type,which is beneficial to relieving clinical symptoms and improving shoulder joint function.
