Effect of Acupoint Application Combined with Rehabilitation Nursing on Pain and Quality of Life in Patients with Advanced Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer
Objective To explore the effects of acupoint application combined with rehabilitation nursing on pain degree and quality of life in patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).Methods A total of 78 patients with advanced NSCLC admitted to Longhua Hospital,Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2021 to December 2023 were selected as the research subjects,divide them into a control group and an observation group using a random number table method,with 39 cases in each group.The control group received routine nursing intervention,while the observation group received acupoint application combined with rehabilitation nursing intervention on the basis of the control group.Pain degree,quality of life,sleep quality,immune function and gastrointestinal discomfort were compared between the two groups.Results After intervention,the pain Visual Analogue Scale scores of both groups were lower than those before intervention,and the observation group was lower than that in the control group,the differences was statistically significant(P﹤0.05);the Karnofsky Performance Scale score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index score lower than that of the control group,the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P﹤0.05);the levels of CD4+T lymphocytes and natural killer cells in both groups were higher than those before intervention,and the observation group were higher than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P﹤0.05).The incidence of gastrointestinal discomfort in the observation group was 2.56%,which was lower than 20.51%in the control group,the differences was statistically significant(P﹤0.05).Conclusion Advanced NSCLC patients receiving acupoint application combined with rehabilitation nursing intervention have the advantages of reducing pain,improving sleep quality,and enhancing quality of life.At the same time,it can also enhance their strong immune function and reduce the risk of gastrointestinal discomfort symptoms.
