Effect of Acupoint Application of Traditional Chinese Medicine Nursing Technique in Patients with Lumbar Disc Herniation of Qi Stagnation and Blood Stasis Type
Objective To explore the effect of acupoint application of traditional Chinese medicine nursing technique in patients with lumbar disc herniation of qi stagnation and blood stasis type. Methods A total of 100 patients with lumbar disc herniation of qi stagnation and blood stasis type admitted to Liaocheng Dongchangfu District Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from June 2021 to June 2023 were selected as the research objects, and were divided into a control group and a research group according to random number table method, with 50 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing intervention, and the research group received acupoint application intervention on the basis of the control group. The degree of pain, lumbar function and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results After intervention, the pain Visual Analogue Scale score and the Oswestry Disability Index score of the research group were(2.58±0.62)points and(10.05±2.85)points,respectively,which were lower than(3.67±0.56)points and(19.32±4.34)points of the control group, the treatment score evaluated by the Japanese Orthopaedic Association was(22.05±2.40)points,which was higher than(19.72±1.79)points of the control group, and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P﹤0.05);the scores of body, psychological, social function and material life status in the Generic Quality of Life Inventory-74 of the research group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P﹤0.05).Conclusion The application of acupoint application of traditional Chinese medicine nursing technique in patients with lumbar disc herniation of qi stagnation and blood stasis type can effectively reduce pain, improve lumbar function and quality of life.
