Effect of Duhuo Jizhi Decoction Combined With Thunder Fire Moxibustion On Patients with Wind-Cold-Dampness Obstruction Type Knee Osteoarthritis
Objective To explore the effects of Duhuo Jisheng decoction combined with thunder-fire moxibustion on patients with the wind-cold-dampness obstruction type knee osteoarthritis.Methods Eighty-two patients with the wind-cold-dampness obstruction type knee osteoarthritis who were admitted to Suzhou Xiangcheng District Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2021 to December 2023 were selected as the research objects,they were divided into a control group and an observation group according to the random number table method,with 41 cases in each group.The control group was treated with conventional treatment,while the observation group was treated with Duhuo Jisheng decoction combined with thunder-fire moxibustion on the basis of the treatment of the control group.The clinical efficacy,inflammatory response indicators,and oxidative stress indicators of the two groups were compared.Results Before treatment,the inflammatory response indicators and oxidative stress indicators of the two groups were compared,and the differences between the groups were not statistically significant(P﹥0.05).The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 95.12%,which was higher than 80.49%in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P﹤0.05).After treatment,the levels of interleukin-6,interleukin-1β,tumor necrosis factor-α and malondialdehyde in the observation group were all lower than those in the control group,while the serum superoxide dismutase was higher than that in the control group,and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P﹤0.05).Conclusion Duhuo Jizhi decoction combined with thunder fire moxibustion is effective in treating patients with wind-cold-dampness obstruction knee osteoarthritis and can improve the inflammatory and oxidative stress responses.
