Impact of High-Quality Nursing Throughout the Entire Process on the Emotions,Postoperative Infections and Quality of Life of Patients Undergoing Kidney Stone Surgery
Objective Exploring the impact of high-quality nursing throughout the entire process on postoperative infection,emotions,and quality of life in patients with kidney stones undergoing percutaneous nephrolithotripsy(PCNL).Methods Selecting 120 patients with kidney stones admitted to Zhejiang Provincial People's Hospital Bijie Hospital from January 2022 to October 2023 as the research subjects,divide them into a control group and an observation group using a random number table method,with 60 cases in each group.The control group received routine nursing,while the observation group received high-quality nursing throughout the entire process.Compare the quality of life,anxiety and depression emotions,and the incidence of postoperative infections between the two groups.Results One week after the intervention,the scores of the Chinese version of the Wisconsin Quality of Life Questionnaire for Kidney Stones in both groups were higher than those before the intervention,and the scores in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,the scores of anxiety,depression and total scores of Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale were lower than those before the intervention,and the scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P﹤0.05).The incidence of postoperative infection in the observation group was 1.67%,which was lower than the 11.67%in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P﹤0.05).Conclusion The application of high-quality nursing throughout the entire process in PCNL surgery for kidney stones has a significant effect,which can effectively improve the patient's quality of life,anxiety and depression,and reduce the risk of postoperative infection.
