Expressions of MicroRNA-597 and Metadherin and Matrix Metalloproteinase-9 and Stem Cell Growth Factor in Breast Cancer Tissues and Their Clinical Significance
Objective Analyze the expressions of microRNA-597,metadherin,matrix metalloproteinase-9 and stem cell growth factor in breast cancer tissues and their clinical significance. Methods Three hundred breast cancer patients admitted to Chaohu Hospital Affiliated to Anhui Medical University from June 2021 to October 2023 were selected as the research objects.Their cancer tissues and adjacent normal tissues were taken. The relative expression level of microRNA-597(miR-597)was determined by fluorescence quantitative-polymerase chain reaction method, and the positive expression rates of metadherin(MTDH),matrix metalloproteinase-9(MMP-9)and stem cell growth factor(HGF)were detected by immunohistochemistry. The relationships between them and the clinicopathological characteristics were also analyzed. Results The relative expression level of miR-597 in cancer tissues was lower than that in adjacent normal tissues, while the positive expression rates of MTDH,MMP-9 and HGF were higher than those in adjacent normal tissues, and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P﹤0.05);the expressions of miR-597,MTDH,MMP-9 and HGF are related to the clinical stage, degree of differentiation and lymph node metastasis of the patients, and the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P﹤0.05).Conclusion miR-597,MTDH,MMP-9 and HGF are abnormally expressed in breast cancer tissues and are involved in the occurrence and development processes of the disease.
