Effect of Laparoscopic Surgery Combined with Dydrogesterone on Sex Hormone Levels and Recurrence Rate in Patients with Endometriosis
Objective Exploring the effect of laparoscopic surgery combined with dydrogesterone on sex hormone levels and recurrence rate in patients with endometriosis(EMs).Methods A total of 84 patients with EMs admitted to Yicheng District People's Hospital of Zaozhuang City from March 2022 to October 2023 were selected as the research subjects, according to the random number table method, they were divided into a control group and an observation group, with 42 cases in each group. The control group underwent laparoscopic endometriosis cyst removal for treatment, while the observation group received combined treatment with dydrogesterone on the basis of the control group.Compare the clinical efficacy, sex hormone levels, pain severity, and occurrence of recurrence between two groups. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 97.62%,which was higher than 80.95%in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P﹤0.05).After treatment, the levels of serum follicle stimulating hormone, luteinizing hormone, and estradiol in the observation group were lower than those in the control group. The lower abdominal pain, dysmenorrhea, and sexual intercourse pain were lower than those in the control group, and the recurrence rate was lower than that in the control group, the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P﹤0.05).Conclusion Laparoscopic surgery combined with dydrogesterone has significant therapeutic effects on EMs,as it can regulate sex hormone levels, alleviate pain symptoms, and reduce recurrence rates.
