数字化转型对制造业企业出口竞争力的影响——基于广东省制造业上市公司的实证研究

摘要
基于广东省制造业沪深A股 460 家上市公司 2007-2020 年的数据,采用固定效应模型分析制造业企业数字化转型对其出口竞争力的影响效果及其作用机制,结果表明:制造业企业数字化转型显著提升了其出口竞争力,在分别使用滞后一期回归、替换核心变量、改变样本范围等方法进行验证后,该结论依然稳健;企业实施数字化转型,可以有效降低管理成本,增强创新能力,从而提升其产品的出口竞争力.数字化转型对出口竞争力的影响随着市场集中度的增强而减弱.企业数字化转型对国有企业、高科技企业、高管有海外背景的企业及珠三角地区的企业出口竞争力的影响程度更大.
Abstract
This paper analyzes the impact and mechanism of digital transformation on the export competitiveness of manufacturing enterprises based on data from 460 listed companies of manufacturing industry in Guangdong Province in China's Shanghai and Shenzhen A-shares markets from 2007 to 2020 using panel fixed effects model.The results show that digital transformation of manufacturing enterprises in Guangdong Province helps to enhance their export competitiveness,and the findings are still consistent after conducting robustness tests such as lagged regression,replacing explanatory and dependent variables,and changing the sample range.By implementing digital transformation,enterprises can effectively reduce management costs,enhance innovation capabilities,and thus enhance the export competitiveness of their products.The impact of digital transformation of enterprises on export competitiveness decreases as the market concentration increases.The digital transformation of enterprises has a greater impact on the export competitiveness of state-owned enterprises,high-tech enterprises,enterprises with overseas backgrounds in executives,and enterprises in the Pearl River Delta region.
