Evaluation of provincial innovation level and regional differences in China based on the Triple Helix
Given regional differences in geographic location, resource endowment, policy environment and other factors,China has always suffered from unbalanced regional development.Based on the triple helix theory, this paper firstly adopts factor analysis to analyze the factors influencing the regional innovation level of 31 provincial-level administrative regions(excluding Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan)in China, and extracts the three factors that have the greatest influence on the regional innovation level as the intellectual guidance factor, the enterprise ability factor, and the interaction ability factor, respectively.Secondly,it adopts K-means clustering analysis to analyze the factors influencing the regional innovation level of 31 provincial-level administrative regions(excluding Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan)in China.According to its development characteristics,it is divided into four categories, which are government-guided university-type,enterprise-driven innovation type, innovation subject interaction type, and future-to-be-advanced type. Finally,it puts forward some essentially leading deliberation on constructive advice and countermeasures for the corresponding regional development in a targeted manner.
