A study on the spiritual comfort of semi-disabled elderly in nursing institutions from the perspective of ecosystem——Taking W nursing institution in S city as an example
Semi-incapacitated elderly are the main service targets in elderly care organizations,but nowadays the organizations pay more attention to the physiological care of the semi-incapacitated elderly,and intervene less in the spiritual comfort needs of the semi-incapacitated elderly.In the case of W nursing care institution in S city,based on the perspective of ecosystem theory,the spiritual comfort needs of the semi-disabled elderly are affected by multiple system levels,including significant others in the micro-system,interpersonal interactions in the meso-system,the community in the exo-system,and the social environment in the macro-system.In order to effectively respond to the spiritual comfort needs of the semi-disabled elderly,multi-system comprehensive services can be adopted,such as strengthening multi-party support,promoting multi-dimensional linkages,improving the community environment,and strengthening macro-control.
