During the reign of Jiaqing in the Qing dynasty,Liu Qingyuan wrote"the Complete Biography of Qiao Qi Yuan",the first vernacular rap novel in Linqu county of Shandong province,which contained a number of bizarre and mysterious cases and involved a large number of legal issues."The Complete Biography of Qiao Qi Yuan"became a popular folk drum song during the Republic of China and was printed multiple times.Another version of the book,"the Biography of Rui Bai",proves that its story is circulated among the Manchus in Shuangcheng and Acheng in Heilongjiang province,and has a certain influence in the local area.However,this book has rarely been discovered or studied by previous scholars.Through the analysis of the main cases in this book,it can reflect the judicial reality of the Ming and Qing dynasties and the folk legal concepts reflected behind the stories,providing ideas for the construction of China's modern legal system.
