Through the study of seven elements-SiO2、Al2O3、TOFE、CaO、Na2O、K2O、MgO in the modern"red sandy soil"developed on the basis of eolian sand in Wenchang Kengwei Garden in the northeast of Hainan Island, the study found that the content of SiO2 is the highest and the content of MgO is the lowest in modern red sandy loam.CIA is negatively correlated with Saf and ba,respectively, and the variation of the data in the upper and lower part of the profile is consistent with the weakening of the soil weathering from the bottom to the top of the profile. The high CIA value of Kengwei Garden profile is related to the thermal and humid environment. In this context, soil and water loss cause the loss of elements,so that all the elements except SiO2 are in deficit state.
