Currently there has been an upsurge in international merger and acquisition (M &A) of stock exchanges. This paper analyses the reasons of the upsurge and inspiration to China. It tentatively concludes that the global M & A would go on and further spread to Asia. So we should bring compete mechanism into securities exchanges and promote corporation reform This seems to be a better way for China' s Stock Exchanges to join the international process of M & A.
