Objective To detect plasma Thl/Th2 cytokines in CHB, liver cirrhosis and HCC patients with CBA methods, to ex-plore the associated clinical value. Methods CBA method was used to detect Thl cytokines(TNF-α,IFN-γ,IL-2) , Th2 cytokines (IL-4,IL-5,IL-10) in 71 CHB patients, 33 HBV positive liver cirrhosis patients and 25 HBV positive HCC patients. Results The expression of thl cytokines (TNF-α,IFN-γ,IL-2) and IL-5 were significantly higher in HCC patients than in CHB and liver cirrhosis panents(P ＜0.01～0.05) , the expression of IL-4 and IL-10 showed no difference in three groups of patients. Conclusion High expression of Th1 cytokines in malignant hepatoma patients indicates it is high immununological response in these patients. Detection of Th1/Th2 cytokines may be a new clinical predictive indicator for the progress of chronic liver disease.
