Objective To study the diagnostic value of the combined determination of serum sB7-H3, CEA and CYFRA21-1 in patients with lung cancer. Methods The levels of serum CEA and CYFRA21-1 were measured by electrochemiliminescence immu-noassay in 68 patients with lung cancer, 75 patients with benign lung disease and 65 healthy subjects. The sB7-H3 was detected by ELISA. The relationship of sB7-H3, CEA and CYFRA21-1 levels with the clinical stages of lung cancer was analyzed by statistics. Results The levels of the 3 tumor markers in the patient group were significantly higher than those in healthy control group (P < 0.05). The sensitivity of sB7-H3 for lung cancer detection was 61.76%, with specificity of 92.14% , which were 45.8% and 90.0% respectively for CEA, and 66.18% and 90.0% individually for CYFRA21-1, and 98.53% and 88.34% discretely for the combined detection of 3 tumor markers. The levels of sB7-H3, CEA and CYFRA21-1 were rising with the increasing of clinical stages. Conclusion sB7-H3, CEA and CYFRA21-1 provides certain clinical value and these tumor markers can be applied to the diagnosis of lung cancer and their combined detection has an important clinical significance in the diagncsis, difterentical diagnosis and clinical staKe of lung cancer.
