Objective To explore the elderly type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM2) patients on serum soluble macrophage hemoglobin scavenger receptor (sCD163) and oxidized low density lipoprotein antibody (oxLDL-Ab) and its relationship with macrovascular diseases. Methods sCD163 and oxLDL-Ab were measured in 189 diabetics and SO healthy controls 189 patients with diabetes mellitus, divided into large vascular lesion group (120 cases) and no major vascular lesion group (69 cases) , a comparison of three groups with sCD163 and oxLDL-Ab level, and the analysis of were made correlation. Results Compared to normal group, the diabetes group sCD163and oxLDL-Ab levels were higher, DM with large blood vessel lesion group sCD163and axLDL-Ab levels higher than those in DM without vascular lesion group, each group manifested statistical significance (P<0.05,P<0.05), and sCD163and axLDL-Ab levels are positively correlated (r=0.45, P<0.05). Conclusion sCD163and axLDL-Ab and diabetic macrovasciuar disease occurrence is closely related to the development and combined detection of early arteriosclerosis diagnosis provides important guiding significance.
