Clinical Significance of Measurement the Changes of Plasma ET-1 and Serum NO, CGRP Levels Both Before and After Treatment in Patients with Essential Hypertension
Objective To explore the clinical significance of measurement the changes of plasma ET-1 and serum NO , CGRP levels both before and after treatment in patients with essential hypertension . Methods Plasma ET-1 and serum CGRP (with RIA) , serum NO (with chemistry )levels measured in 33 patients with essential hypertension and compared to 35 normal healthy indivills as control. Results Before treatment , plasma ET-1 level was significantly higher than that in controls (P <0.01). But serum NO, CGRP levels were showed evidently lower than the controls (P<0.01) . Plasma ET-1 level indicated negatively correlated with serum NO and CGRP levels (r =-0.5728,-0.4822 , P<0.01) .Conclusion Detection of plasma ET-1 and serum NO , CGRP levels after treatment provides a valuable laboratory basis for the exploration of the pathogenesis in essential hypertension.
