Objective To test diagnostic value of high-sensitivity cardiac troponin in non- ST-segment elevation acute coronary syndrome ( NSTE-ACS). Methods After hospitalized the serum samples were collected from 103 consecutive patients with non- ST-segment elevation acute coronary syndrome, in which the non ST segment elevation acute myocardial infarction ( NSTEMI ) were 42 cases, unstable angina pectoris ( UAP ) were 61 cases. The serum samples were test for hs-cTnT and hs-cTnl sinmeltaneously. Re-sults NSTEMI group serum hs-cTnT and hs-cTnl levels were higher than the UAP group, the difference showed statistically significant ( P< 0.05). the area under ROC curve of serum hs-cTnT and hs-cTnl levels for diagnosis of NSTEMI were 0.853(95% CI0.776~ 0.903) and 0.801(95% CI 0.717 ~0.884) , respectively, the best prognostic accuracy for NSTEMI was hs-cTnT> 1.03 ng/ml and hs-cTnl > 0.551 ng/ml individually, with equal specificity and sensitivity for both assays. Conclusion hs-cTnT and hs-cTnl provides similarly prognostic value for non- ST-segment elevation acute coronary syndrome, combined detection of the two biomarkers have a positive clinical significance for early prevention and control of ACS.
