Objective To observe the changes of CD4+CD25 + Faxp3+ regulatory T cell in untreated nasophaiyngeal carcinoma patients of peripheral blood and the relationship between CD4+ CD25+ Fozp3+ regulatory T cell with the TGF-β1. Methods The CD4 + CD25 + Faxp3+ regulatory T cell of peripheral blood in 47 patients with untreated nasopharyngeal carcinoma (TOM Ⅰ11,Ⅱ16,Ⅲ 12, Ⅳ8) and 30 normal healthy persona served as control group. All of patients and controls was detected by flow-cytometry. Ihe level of serum TGF-β1 was detected by ELISA. The relationship between the proportion and number of CD4+CD25 + Foxp3+ regulatory T cell with TGF-β1 were statistically analyzed. Results Compared with control group, the proportion and number of CD4+ CD25+ Foxp3 + regulatory T cell and TGF-β1 in nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients of peripheral blood were increased significantly ( P < 0. 01, P < 0. 05). The proportion and number of CD4+CD25+ Fozp3+ regulatory T cell were postive correlated with the level of serum TGF-β1. Conclusion The level of TGF-β1, the proportion and number of CD4+ CD25+ Foxp3+ regulatory T cell were increased in untreated nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients of peripheral blood. TGF-β1 may play an important role in generation of CD4+ CD25 + Foxp3 + regulatory T,which interacting with CD4+CD25 + Foxp3+ regulatory T and in result to exert of immunosuppression.
