Clinical Significance of Measurement the Changes on Plasma NT and Serum hs-CRP, APN Levels After Treatment in Patients with Acute Traumatic Brain Injury
Objective To explore the clinical significance of measurement of changes of plasma NT and serum hs-CRP, APN levels after treatment in patients with acute traumatic brain injury. Methods Plasma NT (with RIA), serum hs-CRP (with Immuno-turbidity method) serum APN (with ELISA) levels were measured in 36 patients with acute traumatic brain injury and 35 normal healthy persons as control. Result Before treatment plasma NT and serum hs-CRP levels were significantly higher than those in controls (P<0.01), but serum APN level showed significantly lower(P<0.01). After treatment for 2 weeks, plasma NT and serum hs-CRP, APN levels prensented no more from those in controls (P>0.05). Serum APN levels were negative correlated with NT, hs-CRP, APN levels(r=-0.6108, 0.5984, P<0.01). Conclusion Changes of plasma NT and serum hs-CRP, APN levels after treatment might be helpful to realize pathosis, monitoling therapeutic efficacy and prognostication, thus provides definite clinical value in patients with traumatic brain injury.
