Clinical Significance of Determination of Changes on Serum IL-18, D-D and APN Levels After Treatment in Patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Diseases(COPD)
Objective To explore the clinical significance of changes on serum IL-18, D-D and APN levels after treatment in patients with GOPD. Methods Serum IL-18, APN (with ELISA), serum D-D (with biochemistry) levels were determined in 40 patients with COPD and 35 healthy persons served as controls. Results Before treatment, serum IL-18, D-D, and APN levels showed markedly higher than those in controls (P<0.01) , after treatment for 2 weeks, IL-18, D-D, and APN levels proved no much different from those in controls (P >0. 05). Serum IL-18 levels were positive correlated with serum D-D, APN levels(r=0. 5018,0. 6134,P < 0.01). Conduction Changes of serum IL-18,D-D and APN levels monitoring the severity and progress of diseases might be of important clinical values in patients with COPD.
