Geological Characteristics and Genesis of Tongkeng-taopingshan Molybdenum Polymetallic Deposit in Longyan City,Fujian Province
Tongkeng-taopingshan mining area is a molybdenum polymetallic deposit. The regional metallogenic geological background is analyzed and summarized in this paper, the distribution, petrological characteristics, intrusive stages,ore-bearing characteristics of magmatic rocks, and the relationship between mineralization zoning and alteration types and zoning of wall rocks.According to the results of isotopic chronology, the age of the Re-Os isotopic model of the molybdenite is(116.6±1.9)~(118.9±2.0)Ma,and the age of the granite porphyry is 122.1~127.1 Ma,it is concluded that the metallogenic and diagenetic processes in tongkeng-taopingshan mining area are simultaneous and belong to Early Cretaceous. The results of hydrogen, oxygen, and sulfur isotopes show that the ore-forming materials mainly come from the lower crust or upper mantle.By summing up,it provides a new idea for prospecting porphyry molybdenum deposit in the depth of this area and its surroundings.
