In order to research the effect of sodium dodecylbenzene sulfonate on the fermentation of enramycin, different amounts of sodium dodecylbenzene sulfonate were first added into the fermentation medium of enramycin. It was found that adding proper amount of sodium dodecylbenzene sulfonate could significantly increase the fermentation potency. On this basis, the optimal adding time was determined.Secondly, the changes of sugar consumption rate, amino nitrogen and p H in the fermentation process were analyzed under the optimal conditions. Finally, the optimized fermentation cycle was studied. These experimental results demonstrated that sodium dodecylbenzene sulfonate played an crucial role in the fermentation of enramycin, adding proper amount of sodium dodecylbenzene sulfonate could increase the potency of enramycin up to 8 958 μg/mL,the potency increased 58%,the fermentation cycle was reduced from 240 hours to 216 hours, shortening 24 hours, which can lower energy consumption and effectively improve the production efficiency.
