The Foreign-related Rule of Law Dimension of the Construction of Free Trade Zones
As the forefront of reform and opening up of China in the new era,free trade zones are not only an experimental field for promoting domestic rule of law,but also a pioneer zone for connecting with international rule of law.It is a direct manifestation of China's foreign-related rule of law construction.In the past decade,China's free trade zones have formed a new pattern of east-west integration and all-round opening along the border,river,and coast,but it has also raised issues of coordinating multiple interests such as reform and rule of law,development and risk.Based on the Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law,which aims to promote both domestic and international rule of law,the construction of free trade zones should fully explore the compatibility of foreign-related rule of law with domestic and international rule of law.We will coordinate and optimize the development pattern with the central and local governments,steadily open up to the international standards,consolidate institutional innovation through multi-party cooperation,and strive to create a new highland of opening-up with higher levels of openness,better busi-ness environment,and stronger radiation effect.
