On the legal Merchenism of Sciemtific Research Integrity
Integrating scientific research integrity management into the legal track,establishing and improving management sys-tems and related mechanisms,is the fundamental solution to address academic misconduct and promote social credit construction.In recent years,China's central and local levels have introduced a series of policies and regulations on scientific research integri-ty,and the institutionalization and legalization of scientific research integrity management have been continuously improved.How-ever,overall,China's scientific research integrity management still faces problems and shortcomings such as ambiguity in basic concepts,lack of unified policies and regulations,incomplete responsibility system,and incomplete investigation and handling mechanisms.A specialized legislation at the national legal or administrative regulatory level is needed to clarify basic concepts,improve the responsibility system,refine investigation rules,establish a responsible scientific research behavior cultivation mech-anism,and form a new pattern of multi-party and multi-level governance of scientific research integrity in accordance with the law.
