Overall preliminary design of new configuration quad tiltrotor aircraft
Research was conducted on the issue of rotor design often being unable to meet the flight efficiency requirements of two modes in the development process of tiltrotor aircraft.By using two ro-tors similar to helicopter rotors and two propellers similar to fixed wing propellers,the basic func-tions of quad tiltrotor aircraft in two modes were realized.Firstly,different lift component layout schemes were compared and analyzed to verify the feasibility of the proposed configuration.Second-ly,the overall parameters and aerodynamic layout were designed according to the design index.Fi-nally,the aerodynamic characteristics were analyzed by CFD method,the flight performance was calculated based on the flight performance calculation method,and the overall scheme design of the new tilting quadrotor was completed.The research results have a certain reference for the research of new configuration quad tiltrotor aircraft.
