Midcourse guidance method in air-to-air missiles based on Gauss pseudospectral method
The design method of the midcourse guidance law is studied for the guidance problem of air-to-air missile interception near space targets.Firstly, the optimal control model with the maxi-mum range of air-to-air missiles interception hypersonic targets is established, and the Guass pseudospectral method(GPM)is used to solve the optimal control problem. Then, based on the op-timization results of the GPM,the guidance design is carried out,and the guidance law during flight is divided into a sinusoidal angle of attack turning section and a ballistic damping section. Finally, the feasibility and effectiveness of the designed midcourseguidance law to intercept hypersonic targets with air-to-air missiles are verified by simulation. The research results can provide a theoretical ref-erence for the guidance law design and engineering practical application in air-to-air missile.
