Determination of 23 prohibited and restricted dyes in textile solid waste by high performance liquid chromatography-tandem diode array method
A high performance liquid chromatography-tandem diode array(HPLC-PDA)method was developed for the simultaneous determination of 23 prohibited and restricted dyes in textile raw material solid wastes. The samples were extracted by methanol∶acetonitrile(1∶1,V/V)water bath ultrasonication and separated on an Agilent Eclipse XDB-C18 column(4.6 mm×250 mm,5 μm).The mixture of acetonitrile,20 mmol/L ammonium acetate and 0.05%ammonia solution was used as the mobile phase with gradient elution, and the extract was quantified by external standard method.Under the optimized conditions, the 23 target dyes showed good linearity within the investigated mass concentration ranges(R2>0.996),with the limits of detection(LODs)of 0.60-5.94 mg/kg and the limits of quantification(LOQs)of 2.04-19.8 mg/kg.The recoveries ranged from 70.6%to 114.8%,and the relative standard deviations(RSDs)ranged from 1.2%to 10%.The method is suitable for the rapid screening, qualitative and quantitative analysis of various types of dyes in textile solid waste.
