Qualitative and quantitative analysis of ban plastic components using thermal analysis technology
PBAT-PE,PBAT-EVA,PLA-PE and PLA-EVA simulation systems were established for the ban plastic components. The non-degradable components such as PE and EVA and their contents in the blends were tested by thermogravimetric analysis(TGA)and differential scanning calorimetry(DSC).The thermal analysis spectrogram of PBAT-based and PLA-based blending material with varying mass fraction of PE or EVA were obtained.Weight loss of TGA and heat of DSC were analyzed with the content of the ban plastic components, plotting quantitative curves and performing cross-verification.The results indicated that TGA method was superior to DSC method;TGA showed that the corresponding quantitative levels to the PBAT-PE,PBAT-EVA,PLA-PE and PLA-EVA simulation systems were 8wt%PE,8wt%EVA,15wt%PE and 5wt%EVA,respectively.The quantitative method of banned complications by TGA is more reliable and can achieve simple and fast qualitative and quantitative analysis.
