An analysis on materialism's influence on life satisfaction
To explore the impact mechanism of materialism on people's life satisfaction,this study used a random sampling method and conducted a questionnaire survey in some cities in China where materialism is rapidly developing.Through the anal-ysis of measurement models and structural models,the objective existence of the"expected standard"as a moderating variable has been confirmed.In addition,this study explores the relationship between marital status and different expectations used by people to evaluate their living standards,and provides some evidence for the positive relationship between materialism and life satisfaction.
