Research on the plight of social support and development path of sports service for the elderly in China
The social support of sports services for the elderly in China is studied with reference to data resources and liter-ature review.The results show that social support for the elderly sports service is significant,as it can relieve the pressure on the government about the elderly sports service,continuously encourage the development of the market,and create a united force for the service growth.However,some problems exist about social support for the elderly sports service,which is characterized by issues like the inadequate leading role of the government,limited social strength,inadequate social coordination,and inadequate function of community ties.It will be necessary in the future to fully utilize the leading role of the government,accelerate the cultivation and development of social forces,strengthen social coordination,give full play to the role of community ties and fam-ilies,and encourage mutual assistance among the elderly groups,so that the sustainable development of social support for the el-derly sports service can be promoted in China.
