Recent Progress on Covalent Organic Frameworks Materials in Immobilized Enzymes
Covalent Organic Frameworks(COFs)are a class of crystalline porous polymers that are constructed based on the interactions of different atoms via covalent bonds.Due to their adjustable physicochemical properties, structural regularity, robust framework, adjustable porosity and excellent absorptivity,COFs have been widely used to prepare immobilized enzymes for food processing, chemical production and wastewater treatment, etc. This paper reviews the advances in using COFs as the carriers for enzyme immobilization through different immobilization methods including physical adsorption, covalent linkage, and entrapment in recent 10 years. And discussed the remaining challenges as well as the forthcoming chances of COFs materials for enzyme immobilization.
