Research Progress in the Application of MOFs Materials in COx Hydrogenation to Alcohols
The escalating emissions of CO2/CO during conventional fuel combustion have exacerbated environmental deterioration.A promising avenue to mitigate this environmental challenge is catalytic reduction of CO2/CO into high-value alcohols through thermal catalysis. However, achieving high yields and selectivity necessitates designing efficient catalysts to augment CO2/CO hydrogenation catalytic activity.MOFs materials have garnered substantial attention in hydrogenation catalysis owing to their unique physical and chemical properties and high tunability.Hence,we comprehensively review the research advancements of MOFs materials in COx hydrogenation for alcohol synthesis, elucidate partial reaction mechanisms of carbon oxide hydrogenation for alcohol synthesis, and provide preliminary insights into the performance and synthesis methods of MOFs materials employed in COx hydrogenation reactions.
