By virtue of excellent mechanical properties,carbon fiber and its composites are widely used in many fields,such as aerospace,automobile manufacturing,and sports equipment.The paper introduces the production process of carbon fiber,outlines the main molding process of carbon fiber composites,and discusses relevant market scale and applications in aerospace,automotive industry,wind power generation,and sports and leisure.Finally,it presents the main problems faced by carbon fiber in production and application and the future development trend.
