进口影片、内容强度与电影票房——以进口美国影片为例

选取 2006-2020 年在国内上映的票房 500 万元以上的进口美国影片为样本,收集电影票房、内容强度评分、电影获奖情况、网络评分、上映档期及类型等数据,通过构建多元线性回归模型,在控制电影获奖情况、上映档期等变量后研究电影内容强度对电影票房的影响.研究结果表明:暴力内容对票房具有拉动作用,色情和不雅词汇内容对票房有阻碍作用;演员历史票房表现、影片质量、网络电影评分及动作片电影类型对票房具有显著正向影响,而上映档期对票房影响不明显.据此,应把好电影进口关,确保进口电影质量;深耕电影内容,拍摄大众欢迎的电影,形成自有IP;关注电影口碑,创新电影营销模式;顺应市场需求,增加热门类型电影供给.
Imported Movies,Content Intensity and Box Office—Exemplified by Imported American Films
This paper selects imported American films with a box office of more than S5 million released in China from 2006 to 2020 as a sample,and collects data on movie box office,content intensity rating,movie quality,network rating,release schedule and genre to construct a multiple linear regression model to study the effect of content intensity on movie box office.The results show that violent content,actors'box office performance,Oscar nominations awards,network ratings and action films have significant effects on box office revenue,while pornographic and indecent word content has a hindering effect on box office,and release schedule has no significant effect on box office.Accordingly,some policies are sugges-ted for the introduction of foreign films and the creation and development of domestic films in the future.
