In accordance with the mental space and conceptual blending theory in cognitive linguis-tics,the discourse construction for international communication,whether in terms of its phrasing or layout,lies in the construction of cross-cultural cognitive association for the discourse and information,which aims to stimulate the audience's contextual knowledge,the construction of cross-cultural mental space,and cross-cultural frame-shifting.Moreover,the cross-cultural rhetorical discourse for the context,concepts,and information will be required to present the shared reason and feeling,which aims to help audience successfully conduct their cross-cultural cognition.
