Intergenerational Dependency Urbanization:Formation Motivation,Mechanism and Its Impact—Based on Survey of Families of New-generation Migrant Workers
Previous studies mostly examined the intergenerational synergy urbanization model,paying attention to the phenomenon of parent-child cooperative house purchase in the process of urbanization,and the phenomenon of children dependent on their parents to purchase house in the city has not received enough attention.Based on the investigation of the new generation of migrant workers'families in many places,this paper analyzes the motivation and mechanism of Intergenerational dependency urbanization and its impact on intergenerational relations by case studies.The findings are as follows:First,marriage market pressure,village competition pressure and two generations'pursuit of a better life constitute the formation of the Intergenerational dependency urbanization model;Second,family-oriented culture,parent-child unity and unlimited responsibility of parents to children are the formation mechanism of Intergenerational depend-ency urbanization model;Third,this urbanization model is the process of farmer families'proactive choice.Intergenerational dependency urbanization helps to promote the close intergenerational relationship,promote the harmonious coexistence of the two generations,arouse the children's thinking of filial piety,and pay attention to the filial piety to their parents.The study of Intergenerational dependency urbanization enriches the discussion on the model of farmer family urbanization,explores different models and ways of farmer family urbanization,and has profound significance for the development of China's migrant worker family urbanization.
