For some thick polyamide/spandex blended fabrics,80％formic acid method and dimethylfor-mamide method were used for quantitative analysis when 20％hydrochloric acid method was difficult to dis-solve nylon fiber.The results showed that 80％formic acid method had great damage to polyurethane fiber,and the test results of dimethylformamide method were stable and reliable,which could be used in combi-nation with 20％hydrochloric acid method based on the sample conditions.
