The principle of pilling in woolen products was introduced,and the influencing factors of pilling in woolen products were explored.It was concluded that several factors had a significant impact,such as the inherent characteristics of wool fibers,wool yarns,surface structure of fabrics,and post-treatment.The in-fluencing factors in the detection of pilling and pilling property was analyzed,different pilling and pilling test-ing methods have significant differences in their performance indicators.When the purpose is unclear,dif-ferent testing principles can be used for testing.
