Application Practice of Graft Card Clothing Carding in Xinjiang Machine-picked Cotton
In order to improve the carding quality of Xinjiang machine-picked cotton,the indexes of raw cotton,the equipment performance of cleaning process,the configuration of process pa-rameters and the advantages and characteristics of Graft cylinder card clothing,flexible flat clothing,stationary flat clothing,licker-in card clothing and doffer clothing are described in de-tail.According to the characteristics of Xinjiang machine-picked cotton,a full set of Graft card clothing is used in the production of carding machine,licker-in pre-carding area,pre-carding are-a,main carding area,finishing area,transfer area and air flow control process of whole machine are optimized and adjusted.According to the advantages of Graft circular comb and top comb,comb accessories configuration is optimized,and half products and yarn indexes are compared before and after replacement of Graft card clothing.It is pointed out that the use of Graft card clothing to gently comb Xinjiang machine-picked cotton can efficiently and reliably remove im-purities,cottonseed shells,neps and staple fibers.The accessories selection and process optimi-zation of the cleaning and combing process can maximize the performance of the equipment,en-sure the fiber production rate and yarn quality,and reduce the spinning cost.
